Done deal: Santos Laguna confirm signing of Ulises Davila from Chelsea

Dávila joined Chelsea in the summer of 2011 on a five-year deal, with the attacking midfielder becoming the first Mexican to sign for the Blues.

Only three teams created more chances than Santos Laguna in the Apertura of the 2015/16 Liga MX.

However, Dávila failed to play a single game for Chelsea, but he did have five different loan spells away from Stamford Bridge. Dávila spent time at Vitesse, Sabadell, Córdoba, Tenerife, and most recently Portuguese club Vitória.

Santos Laguna have now announced that the 24-year-old has returned to his homeland, signing a three-year contract
