It has been revealed that La Liga side Atletico Madrid have received an offer for their flair midfield player Jorge Koke, and that offer IS from a Premier League club.
According to reports in Spain, the club have told the press that they have been contacted by an English club who have put an offer down on the table for around £21 million for their Spanish International player Koke.
The 23-year-old has been a key player in Madrid’s impressive couple of seasons in top tier of Spanish football but he has attracted admirers from around the world. One of those has been Jose Mourinho, who has made no secret of his admiration of the talent of Koke.
Naturally this has sparked rumours that it may indeed be Chelsea who have made the offer and would certainly fit in with Mourinho’s summer shopping list this coming window.
Madrid went on to say that they also fully expect to be bombarded with offers for many of their star players this summer. They will certainly be prepared to listen to offers having struggled with finances recently, they’ll do well to keep hold of Koke.
