CSKA Moscow star Ahmed Musa is prepared to break the transfer record for a Nigerian player if he completes his transfer to the English Premier League this summer.
It has been reported that Leicester City are willing to splash €30 million to sign the pacy striker from the Muscovites, while Tottenham Hotspur have made a bid in the region of €25 million.
As thing stand, if Musa should sign for one of the English teams, he will break the record currently held by his skipper in the national team John Obi Mikel.
Now 29, Mikel joined Chelsea in 2006 from Lyn Oslo, with the London club paying total transfer fees of 20 million euros.
CSKA Moscow purchased Ahmed Musa from VVV Venlo in January 2012 for five million euros which now seems like a bargain, given that their profit on investment could be as high as 400 percent.
